The Advisory Committee advises CSU Extension in identifying and prioritizing community needs where Extension should be involved. They evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for programs. Community members volunteer to serve on the advisory committee for a 3-year term. The Garfield County Extension Advisory committee meets quarterly. Applications are being accepted.

The 11-week course includes a combination of lectures, small group discussions, online videos, and hands-on activities. The curriculum consists of a total of 60 hours of classroom instruction, over an 11 week period.
More Information4-H enrollment is open on October 1st, for participation in the 4-H part of the Garfield County Fair. However, individuals may enroll and complete general projects through Open Class at the Garfield County Fair. The new 4-H year will begin in October.
