CSU Extension Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee advises CSU Extension in identifying and prioritizing community needs where Extension should be involved. They evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for programs. Community members volunteer to serve on the advisory committee for a 3-year term. The Garfield County Extension Advisory committee meets quarterly. Applications are being accepted.

APPLY NOW FOR COLORADO MASTER GARDENER CLASSES!

The Colorado Master Gardener Program offered by CSU Extension allows local gardening enthusiasts to learn more about gardening practices in the Rocky Mountains. The 11-week course includes a combination of lectures, small group discussions, online videos, and hands-on activities. The curriculum consists of a total of 60 hours of classroom instruction, over an 11 week period.

2024-2025 4-H Year

The 2024-2025 4-H enrollment year will open October 1, 2024! Youth who are 5-7 years old on or before December 31, may enroll in the 4-H Cloverbud project. Youth who are at least 8 years old and have not reached their 19th birthday on or before December 31, may enroll in 4-H clubs and groups. Visit our 4-H to learn how to enroll!
