There are many barriers to healthy food access in rural Colorado that make finding the perfect solution a challenge. Lack of transportation, geography, high cost of living and food deserts are just a few issues that require strong partnerships and resources to create change. In this session, you’ll hear from partnering organizations in Garfield County that have come together to offer unique programs and projects that are working together to improve healthy food access in rural communities.
